What's On at Northart in April

KOREAN FINE ART ON SHOW
4 – 20 April

This weekend Northart welcomes the New Zealand Korean Fine Arts Association to the gallery for their annual exhibition. Eleven artists will be showing a range of work that includes sculpture, jewellery, painting and print making. While some pieces are quite traditional in their rendition, others are in a European painting tradition, and several are a delightful blend of the two.

ASSEMBLY
4 – 20 April
'Assembly' brings together four mid-career Auckland based women painters – Gretl Barzotto, Sharon Vickers, Frances Rood and Clare Young – with postgraduate student Arpēge Taratoa-Leaf, who works in video art and still image.

While there is no overarching theme as such uniting the work of the five artists, there are commonalities in their approach.
