The Windows

Northart shows a variety of works in the full scape window spaces of Galleries 1, 2 and 3 which are viewable day and night. Works are changed on a monthly basis and can be viewed outside of gallery hours and under lights at night.

8 to 25 October

A series of looped ceramic sculptural works by well-known potter Brendan Adams grace the window gallery space. Brendan, who grew up in Northcote Point, has works in the Auckland Museum and Wallace Art Trust Collection. For this collection, he has taken landscape and naturally growing elements to make forms that grow out of the table top, like mangroves.
